EnergyGuard Fin Primer is a special acid based conversion layer which can be applied either in the field by spraying or in a production process by dipping.
EnergyGuard Fin Primer is applied to aluminum only.
The EnergyGuard Fin Primer reacts with the surface of the aluminum to a though diamond like - 0,04-0,08 mil (1-2 μm) - surface layer. Adhesion properties increase and corrosion resistance already meets 500 hours of salt spray test.
